our goal? To reduce forehead lines. No one wants to have permanent lines etched into their foreheads. They're ugly and make you look old and worried before your time.
So, how to you reduce these lines? The same way your reduce wrinkles all over. By using natural skin care products with the top effective anti aging ingredients. I'll get to that in a minute.
But first, there's another way too. One you've heard again and again because it is very effective. Stay out of the sun.
It's true, to reduce forehead lines and other wrinkles and even prevent them from appearing early in your life, you need to protect yourself from the sun. The sun is one of the top aging experiences you can have. It's very damaging to your skin. So, wear that hat and sunscreen if you're going to be in the sun!
But back to the natural skin care. Use skin care products that are good for you. By that I mean antioxidants to "feed" your skin important cancer fighting nutrients--these antioxidants also prevent premature aging!
You can eat your antioxidants in spinach, berries, tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables but there's no reason not to help your skin out by using a skin cream with even more added antioxidants. They "mop up" all the existing free radicals zipping around so you really can't have too many of them!
One of my favorite antioxidants is Vitamin E. It moisturizes your skin, plumps up fine lines (including reducing forehead lines) and feeds your skin in a healthy way.
It's disgusting really how many of the mainstream beauty products are comprised of nothing but chemicals-many of which have been linked to cancer. They can also strip your skin of essential oils, so instead of moisturizing your skin, they're really drying it out down the road.
One example is mineral oil. Mineral oil is a byproduct of the petroleum industry. So, it's the waste after crude oil is processed--are you wondering why it would be in cosmetics? So, was I. So, I did a little research and I discovered mineral oil is cheap and the oil companies want to make more money, so rather than throw it out, they teamed up with the cosmetics industry and found it makes a great base for skin creams. It's a cheap filler. It also clogs your pores and traps toxins under your skin. And dries your skin out over time. So, for you and I, it's not so cheap in the long run.
Plus, mineral oil will do little to reduce forehead lines.
OK, so what will work?
Glad you asked. Antioxidants like Vitamin E and Active Manuka Honey are great for moisturizing your skin and reducing wrinkles.
One of my favorite ingredients is a Japanese sea kelp called Phytessence Wakame. This powerful ingredient stimulates skin renewal so your cells turn over faster and it strengthens your cells that keep your skin smooth.
So, my bet? To reduce forehead lines effectively, find a skin cream with these ingredients in them. Scientists have proved they work.
