Affiliate Article Marketing - You Can Do Many Things With Affiliate Article Marketing

Affiliate article marketing is a technique used by people working with affiliate marketing programs to build a home business online.

There are several approaches to those using affiliate article marketing to capture the attention of potential buyers and send them off to a merchant partner to buy whatever they were looking to buy.

Some of these approaches involve using affiliate article marketing are:

Linking an article directly to an affiliate merchant partner and send the potential buyer right to the merchant from the article.

Linking to a website or blog created by the affiliate marketer where they may have one or more links to products a potential buyer would want to buy.

Linking to a opt-in page where they can obtain the email addresses of people looking for information about a certain niche. They can then send newsletter style emails with links to things these folks might be interested in buying.

The appealing aspect of this type of marketing is that you can literally write short articles about whatever topic relates to the merchant products you are promoting in order to provide the reader with useful information and then forward them straight to the merchant site.

This approach means you could learn how to create articles that will get listed in search engines where they can be found by folks searching Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.

The web searcher finds your article, reads it and then clicks on to your merchant partner where hopefully they make a purchase and you earn some money. No website required.

The downside to this approach is you have to write a ton and often. Without having a website that can get listed in search results for people to find you will have to constantly crank out article content to drive more and more visitors to a merchant partner website.

The cool thing about affiliate article marketing is that you have the worlds largest library right in front of you online. This means anyone can become a semi expert in relatively any field in a short period of time.

The internet thrives off of new and unique content so being able to craft articles that are unique and informative can provide a boost in traffic to your website, blog or directly to that merchant partner who is paying you.

Learning the proper way to use effective keyword search terms in your articles is the number one key to getting listed where people can find your content and give you a chance to earn some cash.

Beauty and Makeup Made Easy For Busy Women

There is more to beauty and makeup than slapping on the war paint. Even when you are busy there are some simple rules you should follow when applying your cosmetics. Here are some must-have, free beauty tips that no woman should be without.

Like fine art, good makeup application begins with a clean canvas, so do not forget about facial skin care products. After cleansing your face, apply a good moisturizer and allow it to soak in. This will keep your foundation on top of the skin. The next step is to apply concealer and foundation to hide any dark circles and discoloration. Foundation should match your skin tone perfectly, so use great care when choosing your shade. Test the color just under the jaw line instead of on your cheek or hand. This will immediately let you know if it will be invisible on the face. If your skin is oily, then opt for an oil free or water-based foundation. Dry skin works best with a liquid foundation or rich cream. Always make sure that your foundation is well blended to avoid looking like you are wearing a mask.

With regard to beauty and makeup, after you have applied and blended your foundation, set it with loose powder. Choose a lightweight powder that will absorb into your skin instead of just sitting on top. This will help your makeup last all day. Use a large makeup brush and apply in a circular motion. Like your foundation, the color should match your skin tone perfectly. Use a light hand and dust off any excess powder. A matte finish will give your makeup a dated look.

Less is more when it comes to health beauty tips. Only apply powder or cream blush to the apples of your cheeks. Blend the blush in so that the color looks natural. If you make a mistake, then just moisten a sponge and gently dab your cheeks until you get the color you want. The lipstick you choose should match the tone of your skin, hair and eyes. Most women opt for softer colors during the day and darker shades in the evening. The same goes for your eye shadow. To give your eyes some extra pop, apply a shimmering highlighter just beneath the eyebrow and apply a thick, even coat of mascara to your lashes.

Now that you know the beauty and makeup basics, you can get creative with color. Blend trendy shades of eye shadow and liner for a smoky look worthy of a dark red silk scarf. Or, pick up a striking shade of lipstick that you never thought you would wear. The key is to create a pulled together, polished look that highlights your best features. Got great eyes? Layer on the waterproof mascara! Got a sexy pout? Play it up with red lipstick. You will love the way your new look will make you feel.

If you want to splurge, then companies that make high end cosmetic lines will provide consultations by appointment. However, do not feel that you have to buy costly products, try to get a sample first to make sure it suits you and your skin. If you practice your technique and choose the right shades for your skin tone, then you will look flawless every time.

Facail Skin Tightening - Skin Tightening Oils and How They Can Help Your Skin

There are a lot of companies out there that market skin tightening oils but only a few of these companies know the important points that these skin tightening oil have the ability to give you a firmer, smoother, and younger looking skin. These companies usually have chemicals in their products but only the natural substances can provide your skin with the right nutrients it needs to help prevent wrinkles or lines. They are more effective at moisturizing your skin than those artificial products these companies produce. So why bother yourself getting these products when you can use the natural alternatives?

One of the reasons why a lot of these companies would have artificial or synthetic ingredients in their product is that natural compounds are harder to find and they are more expensive to produce. It requires a lot of time, research and to process and produce. They would have to extract the oil from plants and it takes a lot of time to process them so that it will be tolerable for the human skin.

Since the natural ingredients are difficult to find, some companies provide their users with "almost" natural substances like mineral oil, paraffin wax, and petrolatum. These substances give the skin a healthy look but only on the surface deep inside they are still the same. There is no improvement to the overall skin health. The truth is that these substances are not even natural since they are man made.

Petroleum based products tend to irritate the skin since they are the product of crude oil processing. They do not offer the benefits of the natural substances. Better yet, find a product that has natural moisturizers and emollients such as avocado, jojoba, and macadamia oil as well as babassu and shea butter. These are all natural skin tightening oils that will have your skin looking firm, tight and toned. Do not be fooled by companies that promote products that have artificial ingredients. Always check the labels of any product you have chosen to ensure it has the natural substances that your skin really need.

How to Apply Makeup in 10 Easy Steps

Put your best face forward armed with beauty secrets from cosmetics industry pros. These 10 simple makeup tips are sure to speed up your daily routine with head-turning gorgeous results.
  1. Step 1

Apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your foundation. Dot it on over any blemishes or under-eye circles and blend with your fingertips or a makeup sponge. If your concealer tends to cake, apply eye cream first.

  2. Step 2

Choose foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Apply it in dots over the central part of your face, then blend it out with a makeup sponge or your fingertips until it covers your entire face (see Related eHows).

  3. Step 3

Use a loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on longer. Use pressed powder to touch up when you're away from home.

  4. Step 4

Do your eyebrows next. Use powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look unnatural. Apply it with a hard, slanted brush.

  5. Step 5

Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium and dark. Use the dark only to line your upper eyelid, in a fairly thin line along the upper lashes. Use the medium shade for the crease and the lightest shade for the area under the eyebrow. There are many variations on eye shadow application techniques (see Related eHows).

  6. Step 6

Apply eyeliner. Use a cake eyeliner with a damp, thin liner brush, or an eyeliner pencil, and line the lower lid below the lashes. Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you're trying to achieve a darker look. Line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible), or start the line where your lashes begin.

  7. Step 7

Apply mascara to upper and lower lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Or try a colored mascara such as navy or plum for fun, but don't go too bright if you want to be taken seriously.

  8. Step 8

Smile to find the apples of your cheeks, and apply blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. If you have to blend in blush, it's too bright.

  9. Step 9

Choose a lipstick color that's suited to your skin tone and that's perfect for your day look. You can mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits (see Related eHows).

  10. Step 10

Line lips after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won't end up with a dark circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. Avoid combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.

Tips & Warnings
  • Follow the steps in the order given, and remember to clean and moisturize your face before applying makeup.
  • Choose brighter or darker tones for a stronger look.
  • Clean makeup brushes by gently washing them in warm water and mild gel shampoo. Air-dry them overnight.
  • Don't skimp on makeup tools. High-quality tools make application easier and faster.
  • If you decide to curl your eyelashes, do this just before applying mascara, never after. Insert your eyelashes into the curler, squeeze just once, and hold for a few seconds.
  • Bacteria can grow in older cosmetics, which can lead to infections. Be on the safe side: Toss anything that's seems old, especially mascara, and avoid sharing products with others.

Super Effective Wrinkle Removers

Many people find wrinkles on their skin unseemly and embarrassing and are constantly looking for ways to remove them. Injections, surgery, oils, lotions and creams are all various methods that people use to try and remove their wrinkles, often to no avail. There are several attributes that one should look for when researching various methods to remove their wrinkles.

    Topical Treatments

  1. Many lotions, creams and oils containing vitamin A, also known as retinol, retinaldehyde or its derivatives, also known as retinoic acids, have been proven to eliminate or reduce wrinkles.
While some over-the-counter lotions and creams contain 0.2 to 0.6 percent vitamin A or derivative (the amount scientifically proven to be effective), most do not have that concentration, so effective lotions and creams are prescription lotions. Prescription lotions and creams containing vitamin A include Avita and Differin. These lotions are safe for application on the face, neck, arms and hands, and reduce liver spots and deep wrinkles over the course of two to six months. Like some acne medicines, some side effects of prescription lotions, because of their high concentration of vitamin A, are dry skin, dermatitis and sensitivity to the sun, so these medications are recommended for application before bedtime or once one is at home for the evening, after dark.
  2. Injections

  3. Botox and hyaluronic acid injections are both very effective in eliminating wrinkles from the facial area. Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles underneath the skin, causing them to relax. After a few days, there is a noticable reduction of wrinkles in the area injected, and full results are expected, in most cases, within 5 to 7 days of injection. The results last for 4 to 6 months, and then, generally, must be repeated to continue being wrinkle-free. Botox can be dangerous if pregnant but has little side effects if not.
Hyaluronic acid injections stretch the dermis, or layers of skin, causing skin cells to produce more collagen, thus reducing the amount of wrinkles in the skin.
Both treatments are safe for facial application.
  4. Surgery

  5. The most drastic, but effective, method of reducing wrinkles is to have surgery. A face lift is the most common surgical option, and the most extensive and expensive. A face lift, or rhytidectomy, is very invasive. Doctors attach threads to tighten the skin, literally peeling back the face to access the skin and muscle to, in some cases, reshape them. Some face lifts result in hematomas, scarring and nerve injury. Face lifts leave bruising for several weeks and are very painful, but the effects are often lifelong.
Less invasive surgical procedures include thread lifts, which take much less time and have a much quicker recovery time, as the doctor only makes small incisions and lifts the skin in only key places, and facial implants, in which the doctor inserts implants into areas such as the cheeks, chin or jaw to smooth out wrinkles. Most often, patients who go through both of these surgeries can go home the same day the procedure is done. Side effects include bruising and swelling and, in extreme cases, infection.

Cheap Ways to Get Rid of Pimples

Acne can effect people of any age, and it can be difficult to know how best to treat the condition. Standard acne treatments, such as benzoyl peroxide creams and acne soaps, can be too drying and irritating on the skin, and can often be too expensive to maintain. In order to clear the skin, while still keep expenses down, it is important to use a few natural and cheap skin clearing methods.

    Using Castor Oil

  1. Cleanse the skin with castor oil, instead of a drying acne soap or cleanser. Castor oil is an oil that will not clog the pores, and will actually deeply flush out and purge the pores. Castor oil is cheap and easily available at any grocery or drug store.

Non-comedogenic oils bonds better to skin oil than water can, making it an effective and skin soothing acne cleanser for all skin types. Massage around 1 tbsp. of castor oil onto the skin using circular movements with the fingertips. After 3 to 4 minutes, drape a steaming hot washcloth across the face. Make sure that the cloth is not hot enough to scald the skin. The steam will open the pores to release the trapped oils, dirt, and impurities.

After the cloth cools down, dip it into hot water again and drape it onto the face for a second time. Once the cloth cools a second time, use it to wipe away the remaining oils and impurities. This type of cleansing method can be used twice per day.
  2. Using Baking Soda

  3. Exfoliate the skin using a natural skin scrub that will gently, yet effectively, remove dead skin that blocks and clogs the pores. Baking soda make a very effective exfoliator that will buff off dead skin without irritating or scraping the skin, and is extremely inexpensive to use. Mix 1 tbsp. of baking soda with 1 tsp. of water, and massage it onto the skin gently. After 1 to 2 minutes, rinse off the skin with warm water. A baking soda scrub can be used on the skin twice per week to unclog the pores and diminish acne.
  4. Using Tea Tree Oil

  5. Spot treat acne blemishes using tea tree oil, which is just as effective as benzoyl peroxide at clearing the skin without causing side effects, like redness, burning, or peeling. Tea tree oil, when compared to acne creams, toners, and lotions, is very cheap to use, and one bottle will last a very long time when diluted. Tea tree oil is especially helpful because it will not dry out the skin, but will still kill the acne causing bacteria and clear the skin.

Dip a cotton swab into pure tea tree oil, then dip it into water to dilute it. Apply the diluted tea tree oil to the acne blemishes up to three times per day.

How to Make Lemon & Honey Soap at Home

Homemade soaps are great to use for your hands or for hand-washing delicate laundry fabrics. Here are instructions to make your own Lemon and Honey soap at home for your household needs or to give away as a gift to someone special. It lathers well and is very soothing to your skin. Lemon even has antiseptic properties and is very pungent. You can put the pliable warm soap inside tartlet pans that have a special shape. Then, you can mark your soap by simply pressing a wooden stamp in the soap to identify its scent or to tell the receiver who gave it to them. Wrap it in pretty cellophane or tie with raffia and let someone know how much they mean to you with this homemade household gift

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz. box of Soap flakes (kind for hand-washing fabrics)
  • 2 oz. Clear Honey (a blended one is fine)
  • 2 T. Corn Oil, plus extra to oil tartlet pans
  • 2 t. Oil of Lemon
  • 2 tartlet pans
  • wooden spoon
  • heatproof glass bowl
  • Saucepan
  • Wooden stamps

  1. Step 1

Buy ONLY soap flakes that are intended for hand-washing clothes. Do not use/buy any other kind. A blended variety of honey is fine.

  2. Step 2

Measure out 8 ounces of Soap flakes and place them in a heatproof glass bowl. Add the Corn Oil and Honey.

  3. Step 3

Put the bowl over some simmering water in a saucepan and set over a gentle heat. Do NOT let the water touch the bottom of the bowl! Stir with a wooden spoon until a soft mass forms. This will take approximately 15 minutes. Add the Oil of Lemon to the mixture.

  4. Step 4

Pour the water out of the saucepan and wipe the saucepan dry. Transfer the soap mixture from the bowl to the saucepan. Continue to heat the soap mixture gently until a stiff paste forms. Use the wooden spoon to stir and turn the soap mixture so that it doesn't burn to the bottom of the saucepan.

  5. Step 5

Turn out the soap mixture onto a wooden board or work surface and leave it to be cool enough to handle. Use your hands to knead it and press it into smooth, firm "dough."

  6. Step 6

Take the two tartlet pans and grease them with oil using your fingers to prevent the soap dough from sticking. Divide the dough into two parts. Press one half into a tartlet pan. Use your thumbs to firm it well into the sides of the pan. Rub a drop or two of Corn Oil over the surface to smooth it out. Repeat this for the other half.

  7. Step 7

Take a pretty wooden stamp and press it lightly into the top of the soap to decorate it and make it "yours."

  8. Step 8

Turn the soap shapes out of the pans and leave them in a warm, dry place for about 1 to 2 weeks before using them.

  9. Step 9

If giving them as a gift, wrap in waxed paper, or in cellophane, or tie with pretty raffia and include a tag that says, "Lemon & Honey Soap." Give a bit of instructions that the soap can be used for skin or for washing delicates.
